Diageo Business Services has been operating in the heart of Budapest for 15 years and provide added value for the company on a global level in the area of Finance, HR, Commercial Support, IT, Treasury and Business Intelligence.
We are currently looking for trainees for a period of 3 - 6 months in part time (20-30 hours per week) or full time to actively participate in the professional activities of our financial and non-financial departments’ daily work.
The taste:
The Human Resources Team in Budapest is accountable for providing HR support to all Budapest-based Diageo teams (i.e. Diageo Kft.): it includes other teams like Group Controllers, Global Audit & Risk, Group Treasury, etc. of a total headcount of ~1.300.

This is an entry level role but as a right hand of our senior HR Business Partners you will be able to get an overview about life, ad hoc actions and challenges of HR, and you can get an overall picture about an international organization which is famous about strong relationships and its people focused culture. If you are enthusiastic, proactive and energetic enough, HRBPs will not hesitate to involve you to more complex actions and provide tasks of an HR generalist to you.



How to serve:
  • Supports various Human Resources activities, ensuring the quality of services provided.
  • Supports the administration of different initiatives of the HR Business Partners.
  • Manage accessibility to HR Manager’s diary, set up relevant arrangements.
  • Organize meetings, workshops and events, key point of contact for participants, facilitators and venue management. Prepare and distribute pre-reading materials and act as on-site co-ordinator.
  • Organize complex meetings and telephone/video conferences (domestic and international).
  • Support HR Managers in preparing communications to wider groups. 
  • Continuous data management in the HR system (Workday).
  • Manage and co-ordinate all other ad-hoc administrative tasks and project management work as appropriate.
  • Oversees the processing of different employee changes in HR system and initiates data quality checks and changes.


  • Ongoing studies, specialization in HR is preferred however not a must
  • Strong English language knowledge – both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to seek out and suggest alternate solutions/procedures to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Analytical, precise and proactive
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are necessary
